Some games feature a re-distribution of the chips in the pot, such as a side pot. Unlike the main pot, a side pot is created from the additional bets of remaining players.

There are also forced bets, which may come in the form of an ante, blind bet or a bluff. However, all these are relatively minor in comparison to a hand’s actual value.
